Hi, I’ve been just a small town country girl all my life! City living is not my cup of tea! Honestly, my neighbors right now are too close for me! My name is Holly Wagner and I want to welcome you to MY RACE that God has given me to run. I laugh as He also sent me the exact name for this blog, “A Lil’ Bit of Grit and a Whole Lotta Grace!”
I’ve been told that I have the perfect life, perfect faith, and that I was just always full of Joy! LOL!! My favorite is that some people are just born with joy and others have to work at it, you were just born with joy. Honestly I shed lots of tears over these words and people thinking that they had to be perfect around me. The comments “Holly is coming so y’all behave,” have broke my heart. I have always tried to be real whether I am at church, home, the grocery store, or even out to eat! What you see is what you get! Through the tears and cracking voice I spoke to my best friend “People don’t know what I’ve had to walk through to get to where I am, this just didn’t happen,” and out of her mouth came something I never expected. “Holly, it’s because you never let anyone see what you are going through.” I was blown away, because I have always tried to be transparent so after a Crossfit Workout on 2020 Christmas Eve Eve, God spoke so clearly and told me start this blog. So that others can walk with me as I run this crazy race called Life! So let me welcome you to A Lil’ Bit of Grit and a Whole Lotta Grace, I’m so glad you are here!
